Microsoft announced the Fall Creators Update for Windows 10, which will include the most efficient tool against virus attacks – artificial intelligence.
The new AI anti-virus protection would be capable to detect and react on the malware in the split second. Machine learning algorithms would allow the system to analyze the activity of suspicious software and update the virus signature database regularly. In order to prevent the exposure and stop the virus, it can block the software on all PCs of the single network.
Company representative Rob Lefferts told the media that according to the statistics, 96% of the time, a new virus can infect huge number of PCs before there’s a counter-tool available. AI anti-virus would solve this problem.
Originally this new protection system will be integrated in Windows 10 enterprise edition only. Later on, it will be added to the user OS.
Update is scheduled for the beginning of this autumn.
